Thank you all....

Thankfully, my dad and I both are in the Insurance business, so this should get handled in the fastest way possible... and the fact that they know why civics are stolen (for parts) they are waiting on the police report and hopefully closing out the claim early and settle this...

and KBB retail price is double what we paid for it, we got a deal from a good friend, so it might turn out nice....

But I will keep you all posted until then.....

As of right now the only thing that sucks is that I didn't/don't have rental car insurance on the car, so I am S.O.L unless I want to pay the 28 bucks a day to rent until I can get this shit settled... No matter how well the Insurance company is helping you they still have their regulations on how long until they close claims on stolen vehicles....

I had an accident once where it was my fault, my collision paid 3K over what I paid for the car. Sometimes it does work out better.

Since I travel so much I get deals from Budget.com. If you want I could send you the link for weekly specials. They range from 100-200 per week. Sucks, I know. But let me know if I can help out in any way.

I still find it amazing it takes that long to process claims/paperwork.

Once they have everything in hand it should be pretty quick IMO.

Yea hopefully once they have everything it should go quick.... They say that it is for the police to have a chance to look for the car, but we all know that cops dont look for stolen cars and they really shouldnt they have better stuff to do with their time....

Hopefully it happens quick enough that i can get something b4 Christmas, cause it wont be easy to do shopping having to ride with people....

The standard is 14-30 days for all insurance companies... you really cannot expect a stolen car claim to be settled in less than 14 days....
