yeah, but realize it is a REGULAR PRODUCTION stick. we can get kinda jaded on here with all the cool stuff we hunt. something like this, on the shelves all the time, is a damn good thing. you don't HAVE to go a box deepo. but i think some people will want to.

for me (just burned my second stick (robo, then toro), it is a venn diagram between fausto, FdlA, and MF core line. which means big, pepin spice, stupid nice construction, and legs to age.

This is great info Sean. Not a huge FdlA guy myself, but age does good things to cigars. Especially the ones with Pepin traits.

Great points across the board.

Ok this sold me on buying quite a few from this release and aging them. Sounds like they have done serious potential. Gonna grab sore next week.

Just smoked a Toro at the Pepin event in Atlanta. I'm impressed. Had to put it down with a third left, but it was a really good stick. Glad I gave it a shot, it did not disappoint.

I agree with you javajunkie. It's hard sometimes with all the LE's, reviews, and bells and whistles to focus on a quality, production cigar. Thanks for reminding me of that brother :)

Don't mean to thread jack, but check it, cigar porn from the My Father event tonight at Cutter's Cigar Emporium in Atlanta:

Bought a box of Le Bijou Petit Robustos, got a Centurion shirt, 2 Antiguedad Toros, 3 DPG Special Event Blends, a DPG blue rolled fresh at the table, and a cutter. They had an awesome salsa band, and I even got Pepin to sign my box. :) pretty much an awesome night. Thanks to my fiancé for an awesome early birthday present!

Had a hard time keeping it burning but overall great flavors and probably going to age very well.
try buying one or two, and keeping it in YOUR stash for a week or so. i personally had ZERO issues with mine. flawless burn and draw. then again, it could have been a bad stick, or box, i can't doubt you as i wasn't there...

and @barbarino, yes that is a thread jack, but we don't have hella long attention spans at times. nice haul. o)

Probably just needs a little rest in my humi. Will try another in a week. Have no doubt based on what I tasted that these should be another winner for Pepin

just smoked one of these finally at an event at my local b&m, loved it! I had the corona grande, big pepper blast out of the gate that quickly mellows out into a smooth chocolate and toasted almonds. It stayed about the same flavor wise for me til the final third when the nuttiness dies down and it really ramped up in strength and the chocolate and cocoa flavors started to dominate. I feel like this is one of those cigars that will definitely come into its own with some time on it.
