WOW, who would've ever thought that THIS would be my favorite cigar from the show!? I meant to smoke it after breakfast one day at the show but never got around to it. So today while golfing I brought both the maduro and natural wrapper versions of this wonderful smoke with me. So what is it you say? Drew Estate's Tabac Especial Coffee Infused. WOW, I had the maduro first thing this morning and the dark coffee with sugar hit me right away. This was a shaggy foot cigar and lit beautifully and burned spot on the whole way. I was expecting a nasty infused flavor to catch up with me but it never did, the cigar was enjoyable the whole way through, with definite notes of coffee and sugar.
After that cigar was nubbed, I thought I'd give the natural wrapper version a try. Now this again was a shaggy foot and from the moment I lit it, it took on an even sweeter flavor, this time, coffee, cream and sugar. Although this was right on the cusp of how sweet I could handle, I nubbed this sucker as well.
Now I've ripped on Drew Estate and Acid for as long as I can remember, but damn, this was enjoyable. I had Bob order three boxes of each for the store, I'll sell the shit outta these. If you run across a box, do yourself a favor and give one a try, you may like it.
