  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

been making friends with the guys down at my local B&M and today they gave me a call that the Opus had come in. I am still new to cigars but have been wanting to try one of these. Ended up coming home with 5 Opus X and two between the lines and two sharks. And the nice part was that they were all at MSRP! some days it pays to get out of bed!

Awesome, let us know what you think when you smoke them. You might want to let the Opus sit a little bit, and be careful with the Anejo, they tend to attract mold.

Congrats you have an honest B&M near you and that for a lot of the guys here is hard to come by. I can get the at msrp but IL taxes can sometimes blow'em up a bit in price.

I hope you enjoy 'em Doc. I accidentaly found them at the store I frequent the other day, and had heard so much about them I had to buy a couple. Smoked one that night, and went back to the store in the morning to buy as many as they'd sell me.

Your lucky to have a shop around that carries them. Whenever I travel, I ask at any shop I can find, but no luck. The closest shop to me (50 miles) gets 1 box a year and sells out in a week. And I just can't bring myself to pay the $30+ online prices.

That is how I got into the Opus habit. I tried one about 10 years ago and they have owned my soul since. Thank God thru all my networking around the country I know people where I can buy at MSRP but still, at an avg. $13 a stick it's still not an everyday smoke.

And if you don't like the OPUS let them sit and come back to it in a year and see what you think.
The more you age them the better they are,,,I have about 18 that are at least 4 years old and I smoke one when I require a memory of what is going on at that time.

To a point, I'd had several OR Opus and to me they lacked the punch that I love with that cigar.
