My fisrt HERF

was the Cigar Family Hartford Herf. I couldnt believe what I got myself into. It was an incredible experience for a new smoker.

roughly 100 hardcore cigar smokers jammed into JimDs in Hartford.

Then a whole floor of a hotel. Massive amounts of food and booze.

in 2 days, i betcha that 2000 cigars were smoked. the whole hotel STUNK of cigar smoke.

we werent invited back the next year. the hotel staff was in shock.

Me first HERF was at a nearby pub. Very small group, all of us just venturing into the world of cigars. Then the cops arrived for a "redada" (verified ID and took to the Public Ministery any underage. Though here in Mexico people have died while one of these goes on...) and took one of the HERFers away (they dissaproved of him beeing at a pub drinking a pint of Guiness, yet payed no attention to the cigar... Who would've guessed, oi?). Good times... :smokingbo
