  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Its a pompei from cheaphumidors.com. I ordered an imperfect, but when I got it I couldn't find a scratch on it! I have read more than once on here to buy bigger than what you think you will need, and now I know why. I thought that having a fairly small humi would stop me from buying so many sticks. It probably won't though I'll just put the ones that wont fit in a tuperdor.

Dude about 16 months ago I ordered my first humidor, a 10 stick thing from Famous for $15. I had always smoked, but I bought one when I wanted and smoked it right then, and so on. A month later I bought 60-75 stick humi with drawers and doors, it held steady, but was full in a matter of weeks. For the last 7 months or so, I have been using a 28 bottle Wine fridge holding more than 250 currently and growing by the month. Slippery Slope indeed. And I am just a noob compared to many of these guys. Yes you should have gone bigger, but this is just the natural progression of things. Soon you'll be using your office adress for deliveries so you can hide the purchase from the wife. PM me your addy and when I get my shipment next week, i'll help you fill that one a bit more.

I have been smoking for three years and this is a bit ridiculous but i have the 28 bottle vinotemp converted to a humidor, 2 150's full, a 300 full, a coolerdor that is full, and a 1500 cigar cabinet humi that is almost full. This habit is ridiculous. I do keep my Dad's sticks in my humi's as well, so not all are mine, but it is incredible how quickly you can accumulate sticks and spend money.

Ye're off to a neat start mate (especially with the Pepin). Now it's all downhill from here!
