  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

My Latest Endeavor
I just wanted to share this with you guys. For almost the past year I involved in a program through the Kentucky Distillers Association to get my certification as an Executive Bourbon Steward. One of the requirements was to conduct a tasting with some of the leading distillers in Kentucky. I conducted my tasting with a panel of six distillers one of whom was Chris Morris, the master distiller from Woodford Reserve (no pressure there). I am thrilled to share that I successfully completed the written exams and the tasting which also included a fairly exhaustive Q&A and have received my certification.

Way to go chef, I'm sure it helps having that in your backyard. All I have is grapes and ima beer drinker.
