Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
No sure of a limit, but there shouldn't be a problem with n/c cigars.
Yea thanks for reminding me I forgot the number as well. I think I brought about that many back from DR when I went a few years ago. There is no limit to how many, just a 100 limit before you have to pay duties on them. When on a ship in international waters, same rules apply is the 100 sticks.
i'm not sure i follow? Its always a good idea to have a nice receipt from CI or some US cigar store for your bandless beauties. Makes the question and answer very easy.
If you are bringing "bandless" cigars through customs and declaring them to be other than cuban, its good to have a receipt proving that. The first thing they will assume is that they are cuban. You can get a receipt from any shop you buy from. If the cigars are clearly banded you have no problem. It just keeps down the noise and hassle when traveling through customs to have "documentation".i'm not sure i follow?
I understand that. Every B&M I've been to doesn't really have an itemized receipt, just the amount I paid, so I doubt that'd be helpful. If you are bringing "bandless" cigars through customs and declaring them to be other than cuban, its good to have a receipt proving that.
