Yes. There is a 90% chance that the cabinet will soak up every drop of moisture from the cigars, and that's a lot of cigars gone to shit. I was also unpatient with one of my first desktops, and it was never any fun to a) get the sticks back up to humidity and b) recognize the fact that I ignored everything everyone said was going to happen and have to wait another week to properly season the humidor.Still curious if anyone has loaded a un-seasoned cabinet.....?
I like to wait until I'm sitting comfortably in the mid-to high-70's and then dump the sticks in. It's really easy to be impatient when seasoning a humidor, but (at least in my case) I'd rather wait a week than ruin thousands of dollars in cigars.
