Looking for some info on Opus X box prices. It looks like I have a found a shop that is selling full boxes of Opus. NY prices are high but I might be able to work out a deal with the shop.

I won't be able to buy and keep a full box, but I was thinking of splitting it here. If the prices are worth while maybe I could start a box split for anyone interested.

I found Opus X box prices on vitolas.net and I'm wondering if those are current prices. What should I expect to pay for a full box of opus?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You'd be better to have somebody out of state buy the box, so that you save on the NY tobacco tax. Which Opus are you looking at? I'd plan on paying stick price x the amount in the box and maybe hope for a box discount depending on how nice the shop owner is.

Vitolas.net msrp prices are pretty close. Holts sells them at those prices. Add the state tax and you will come up with a reasonable total. Anything more than $30-$50 over MSRP + State Taxes not worth it IMHO

I guess it's the state taxes which ruin it here in NY. I believe they just passed a tax of 75% on cigars. That puts a $10 stick to $17.50 + sales tax almost another 9%. Pretty crazy.

When I lived in Framingham I used to go downtown to LJ's all the time just to get my share of Opus cigars. Unfortunately if you don't live in Ma. they won't mail out Opus orders...unless that has changed. That would make me very happy!
Actually priced these today. OpusX XXX boxes of 42 are approximately $550 for the box here in MA at a local B&M (that includes a 15% box discount). They're $14.86 each.
