Sent your way...Hope you guys get home soon!
Good to hear. You got ticks over there? They have an alert over here in PA. Preferable weather cycles have created a little population problem.Sending her home finally. Negative on the meningitis. They aren't real sure what the source of the infection is, but at least it's not something real bad.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. I'm sure they helped.
Same here too on the "Island." And in the social media hunting groups I'm a part of, they've been posting like crazy about a new tick borne disease that's worse than Lyme's disease and it's apparently here already in full force as it got someone. Not sure it's true or not but we never know......Good to hear. You got ticks over there? They have an alert over here in PA. Preferable weather cycles have created a little population problem.

Damn man! Hope all goes well with this checkup. Please continue the prayers. Her symptoms haven't gotten any better. High fever, headaches, etc.
The vet that she works for called her last night and she thinks it might be an obscure tick borne disease called Leptospirosis. She's going to the Dr today to see if they'll start treatment for that, otherwise we are going to call the CDC.
Here's some info on the disease
