The suspected cause is pretty obscure. CDC reports 15 known human cases in 2015. Talking with our family physician, the testing is pretty difficult. However, most of the known infections that cause these types of symptoms can be treated with normal antibiotics. I wish we could know for sure as well, but she hasnt had a temperature spike since yesterday afternoon. This morning, she was nice and cool when I left for work, thank God.Prayers sent. Glad she got sent home but hope they figure out the cause rather than just throwing antibiotics at the situation.
