i have 2 new travel humis in the works. a 10-15 cigar model, and a 12-18 cigar model. Do you want the same deep trays that come in my large travel humi, or do you want the higher capacity, but flimsier trays that come in the Cigar Caddy brand? The better trays would put the capacity down to 8-12 instead of 12-18. what do you think?

Give people a choice if it is cost effective.

If it has to be one option I would say the flimsy ones because the grooved ones are only reall neccessary with the bigger, more square, boxes.

If you could offer both, otherwise I would go with the higher capacity trays.

My suggestion was absolutely serious. With all deep trays, you loose too much room. And with the thinner trays and varying stick sizes, the top tray can be problematic. A deep tray on top would allow the 'play' and pressure on the tray and not on the cigars.

ok, i will keep that in mind. you guys are going to like these travel humis. they will be priced very close to the Cigar Caddys, but will have handles and pressure release valves. Armored Humidor features, at Cigar Caddy prices.

That sounds cool Ron. And my thoughts are with the others. Eric makes a good point though. I still need to get some of those deep trays for my bigger cigar caddy...

leaning toward the thin trays. my better trays for my large travel humi can actually be cut pretty easily, and are a pretty good fit in my new travel humi.

Thinner trays since they work well. I'd hate to loose that many cigars in a case.

my small cases have arrived, just waiting for foam to arrive. The small travel humi will hold up to 15- 50 ring gauge cigars up to 7" long. If carrying thinner gauge, like coronas, the case will hold up to 18 cigars. If smoking thicker cigars, then it will hold 10 plus 1 tray of thin cigars. If I can work out a good deal on humidification, these cases will sell for $19.99. Not a bad price for a case with these features.
