  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Never would of thought that THIS site existed

Isn't that doing the same thing but just going around it in an awkward way :dunno:
I agree. It's still using technology and "things of the world". If you are going to be Amish do it right IMHO. I do have alot of respect for those communities without running water, electricity, etc. Now that's roughing it.

Up where I'm from in PA they'd just hire people to do the things their culture doesn't allow. For instance, they actually travel quite a bit and not all in a horse & buggy. There are people who "drive Amish" for a living. Also, the Amish homebuilders don't use power tools (or at least didn't when I lived there) but they hire one of the "English" to drive the van or suburban around to the farms to pick up the carpenters and drive them to the jobsite.

Ha, ha, ha... Driving Miss Amish!
