New Addition to the Family

As I had mentioned to some of you before, my wife was due with our first. Yesterday at 10:04PM she gave birth to our daughter Amelia. Everything went as planned, and mom and baby are doig great. I'm excited and honored to be joining the other fathers out there. The whole experience was amazing. For how much I thought about what this moment would be like, there is nothing like that moment when I first saw her.

Congratulations!!! I love babies. Nothing like em. Enjoy this newborn stage, memorize every moment, because it's gone in the blink of an eye.

Also, congratulations on being the first dad to not have that white blanket with the teal and dark pink stripes on it around your baby for the "just born" photo. Seriously, I'm buying stock in hat company if I ever figure out who it is.
