This is why I've liked to use Heartfelt humidity beads the last few years. I've got about 1 1/2lbs of 65% beads in the cabinet and it holds steady. 20150224_163517_resized.jpg

Really nice work! You mentioned that the wood is formaldehyde free. I just saw a frightening story on 60 Minutes this Sunday that claimed Lumber Liquidators is selling wood flooring with high amounts of formaldehyde. They get all their lumber from Chinese factories. I was wondering if the humidors we buy here, which are all manufactured in China, use the same wood type with formaldehyde?

Probably not a big deal I guess as I think most all plywood & MDF products have had formaldehyde used for years and years and still do. I think the main concern is working the material and inhaling the dust, not actually using the product...but I really don't know. I had the opportunity to use Formaldehyde free, so I went that way. Heart will probably give out long before I get cancer from something lol
