Looked more like Newman forgot to turn...At least Tony was calm in the interview...

I'm getting killed in my office pool this year... have Biffle, Edwards and Kahne..Kahne so far has been the only one helping me this year..

Why in the hell is Waltrip in these races? The dude sucks so bad he couldn't even get a top 15 in the Busch series if his career relied on it!

Just like Gordon should of know to slow down last week going into the corner knowing he was faster then Matt..

All in all its racing..

Not the same at all.

It is the spotters responsability to let a driver know if a car coming up on the driver is on fresher tires.

Gordon meant to hit Kenseth.

Stewart thought Newman was just being an annoying lapped car.

Yep.

I think if his spotter would have been doing his job and told Tony the 12 was on the inside on fresh tires he likely would have let him go.

No its the same. Two people battling for points and no one wants to give a little. So that to me is the same.

Also Newman was trying to get his lap back. He knew Tony was the leader and a strong car. He should of backed off in the corner and not drive in as hard as he did cause him to slide up into Tony. He could of not taken Tony out, but would of took himself out.

Eh, I guess we will just have to agree to disagree...I do not see it as the same thing.

Ryan was on fresher tires and the 12 and 20 were not fighting for the win with two laps to go.

Both situations are very different IMO.

I just miss the days where they actaully fought for the spot. No one used the bump and move method. I think over the years that has taken away form racing (and restrictor plates). The young ones seen Dale Sr. use it a lot, but he would just get you loose not wreck you. The just go over board and wreck you..

Back in the day the cars were easier to control and a bump didn't wreck you.

I think there was MORE bumping and banging back then...it just didn't result in a spin or crash 8 times out of 10.

Biffle has been good these past couple of races, IIRC. And Edwards has been quiet. So has Khane
