  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Those are very nice looking pipes. Sadly, I'm not going to be attending. BUT I've read in previous postings from the Chicago, NY/NJ shows etc. members took plastic baggies with them as some of the vendors gave out samples of baccy in the travels around the seminars and shows. @The_Rev I know is a fellow piper and from the area. Maybe he might be attending???

Most interesting is the Perique factory tour for $35. I'm very interested in going to that. My mom was born in St James Parish where Perique is manufactured. It's in my blood.
My dads side were also farmers from St James Parish. Hester, Louisiana. They grew perique back in the 40-50's I was told. I believe the perique farm they're mentioning is owned by the Matherne family, but I could be wrong.
