I just picked up a new XDM 9mm compact to use for my conceal carry permit and absolutely love it. I put about 300 rounds through it over the weekend and think its much more comfortable and accurate for me than the Glock I picked up in march. My questions to the group is what is everyone's preference on night sights and why. Looking at the Trijicon SP01's but don't really have any experience one way or the other.

I have the XDM 40 but I wish I would of gone with the compact. Should still be alright for carry. Let me know if your night sights work out for you. I am looking into them as well.

I use XS Big Dot tritiums on my CCW guns.. Ive been using them exclusively for probably 10 years now..
cant beat them at ranges of 15 yards and closer IMHO.. super fast and easy to pick up from the draw..
they take a little getting used to for longer range shots since the front post will cover most of a B27 silhouette out at 25..
But they can still be used effectively at those distances if you train with them and understand how they work..
The XS CSAT rear aperture is my go to rear iron sight for my M4's as well.. (XS makes excellent shiznit in my opinion)...
