  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

new to pipe, wanted to share this pic of a bomb.......

Nice bomb! I just "like a few weeks ago" got back into a pipe. It's been 25 years for me. I don't know a thing about todays tobacco. I've been doing alot of internet research and always welcome to some pointers. If anybody wants to make some suggestions please PM me.

kinda like cigars.. it really depends on what you like...

I know guys that have smoked nothing but "cheap" drug store tobacco their entire lives.. and absolutely swear by it (captain black, etc.. )... I know others that love the aeromatics and flavor infused stuff... and wont smoke anything else... most "serious" pipe guys I know stick to english and virginia type tobaccos though...

me personally... Im all over the map... and like a bit of everything...

my go-to tobacco this year seems to be Mac B's Virginia #1.. its a mild-medium smoke.. a little bit sweet.. ready rub..

but I also keep a tin of nightcap around... and usually have a bit of cavendish based house blend from one of my local B&M's on hand as well...

I got a great deal on a tin of CAO Eileens Dream (Irish Cream flavors) on cbid last week (supposed to be arriving by mail today).. I put in a ridiculous bid ($4.00) and won it.. so I figure I'll give it a whirl and see what I think.. I dont care much for infused cigars... but I dont mind it occasionally in a pipe...

Nice smack down . I still haven't really got into pipes, but love the smell of pipe tobacco and some of those baggies look pretty good.

I got imto pipes just for those times when i cant spend 1-2 hours on a cigar. Im all over the map with my cigars so im pretty sure i will be with the pipe as well. Im in the middle of a n00b trade for pipe on another forum. Expecting to get hit kinda hard there im sure. I had to do an online tobacco cellar fpr my teade.

It's nice... I've only smoked maybe half a dozen bowls of it so far... But I like it....

Pretty mellow tobacco.. The Irish cream is mild... Nice aroma.. But not too heavy of an ic taste...

Don't know if I'll buy it again... But at the price I got it for, it was well worth it...

My local B&M has a blend they make that smells like vanilla and chocolate. It tastes like vanilla though. Anyway my wife loves the smell and for a aromatic it has some strength. It's always good to find something like that for house smoking.

Sent from my Galaxy S3 while getting a blumpkin!
