Awesome!! I want to get a Xi asap; don't mean to thread jack but I don't want to spam up the sub-section with a question.. Does anyone know where I could possible get the Xi3 with Burl wood handles. They used to offer it and don't seem to be anymore
It's a tough one to come by. Do a followed search on eBay and it will let you know when someone puts one up for sale (I think you can still do that, anyway!)Awesome!! How'd you get that? I've got two Xi3s and I registered them both... neither one came with a Stingray sheath!
Received my free Stingray sheath today for my new cutter. Xikar does things the right way, great company!
It came with a form to fill out and send in instead of just registering it online. Maybe because it is a limited edition, I think only 400 made. The form said something about it being an elite Xi3 cutter if I remember right. It also came with a display box which I just put in a closet or drawer somewhere.
The stingray is for their more special Xi3's. Like mammoth, coral, 3D Mayan, etc. Not all Xi3's get stingray offer. If you go to the Xikar site you will see if you click on one of the ones I listed it states "free stingray sheath offer", the majority Xi3's do not.
