  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hello all,
I am new to cigar/s; been smoking a few since October this year and have now purchased a humidor (25 count). Not sure what to put in it; and am open to suggestions? Any/all would be appreciated.

In not only a newbie but a fog as well. Can anybody turn me on to where to purchase cigars at a reasonable price? I would also be interested in purchases from members. Once again, thank you.

Welcome from South OC. Stick around, we get together several times a year. I do not know what your financial status is, but some samplers from Cigars International will give you a shot at trying different stuff and not getting stuck with a box of stuff you don't like. Take notes about the cigar, like where it was from and what kind of tobacco was used, etc. if you like it, you can search out other cigar with similar characteristics, and it goes from there. Tis a slippery slope, and the 25 count will soon be filled and you'll be expanding.

welcome to the board! Samplers are your friend right now. Take your time, don't smoke too fast. Take some notes and do a little googling.

It's very exiting when you first start smoking. You might have some bad experiences also (you might encounter what we like to call "turds"), but be patient. Before you know it you'll know what kind of smokes you like and will have a short list of favorites. Enjoy the ride!
