My name is Cory, I'm 25, and live in Western Wisconsin about 30 minutes outside of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
A little bit on how I found you guys...
It was last September and I was online and stumbled across an article by Corey Greenberg on Traditional Wetshaving. Well, one thing led to another and I got swept up in the crazy trip that is traditional wetshaving. That's right, the whole nine: double edge razor, badger hair brush, fine european creams, a rediculous assortment of aftershave splashes and balms, and an ever growing cologne collection. You can start the insanity over at badgerandblade.com The gents over there are first rate and it's much more than just shaving. The entire gammut of "gentlemanly" persuits is discussed: fine liquors, cigars, pipes, custom suits, you name it. If men like it, it's talked about there.
So with that said, I found myself yesterday nestled up on the banks of a nearby river with a comfy folding chair w/ footrest, a good book, and an Arturo Fuente Special Selections Brevas. To say the least, it was a turning point in the way I like to relax.
I spent all of 5 minutes lurking around here and couldn't wait any longer to join the fun. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from you guys.
