Great that's exactly what we all need. I just don't know when the government will stop trying to hide the fact that all the tax hikes like this are just blue laws, taxing people on their morals.

I believe they are called sin taxes, but the principle is the same: Tax people on their morals. 99% of people will still enjoy their cigars/tobacco/alcohol even if the government raises taxes, so it's essentially free money for them. I'm not saying it's right, but why wouldn't they raise taxes?
