NFL Draft

I haven't posted anything about the draft yet because I am just starting to calm down. From my teams first round selection.

<start rant>

I can't figure out what the #*@$ the Miami Dolphins were thinking passing up Brady Quinn for Ted Ginn Jr. I am dumbfounded with their retarded decision. Ok, so let's say they didn't necessarily think Quinn was their franchise QB and figured they could pick up a good second round QB instead. Sure I'm fine with that, but why the hell pick Ginn over other prospects that are needed much more than a WR/KR. Joe Staley would have been great. Seriously, what good is a damn receiver if you don't have a QB that can throw for shit! Chambers & Booker would be plenty good if there was some stability and talent at the QB position.

So how is your team doing in the draft so far?

They obviosly didn't learn from the Lions. On a higher note Jarvis Moss and Reggie Nelson were both just drafted.

Raiders got a QB FINALLY! Time will tell if he turns out to be a franchise player... ...fingers crossed.

The Bengals drafted a corner. Anything on the defense can help. The only question is whether he makes his name on the field or behind bars...

Russell is a beast of a quarterback! I never liked watching him play because he always seemed to beat any team I was rooting for. But the guy has talent...

Russel is has lots of potential. But I've watched him every year and he seems to always never reach that potential. IMO we should've seen him in the SEC championship if he had made some better decisions. That is why I think he will only be average in the NFL. He needs to make better choices with the ball and thats something I'm not sure he can do.

The QB before him, Rohan Davey, was pretty good too. But he I think their program made him look good. He's a bust in the NFL.

I focken hate BYU and everything about them, including John Beck. I hate them (and him) so much that I truly don't know if I can cheer him on even in a Dolphin uniform. I seriously want to cry right now. Hopefully these feelings will go away in a couple years, but after what he did to the Utes on the final play of the game this year, I don't know any Ute fan that can ever like him!

I need to go console with another Phin/Ute fan on another website and see what he has to say about this. I also need to get wasted tonight, drown my sorrows away.
