Hopefully my Stillers know what they're doing with all their releases. I think Harrison was a good move, but I'm not so sure about Wallace. They always draft & develop well, so we shall see.
no more mendenhall either, even though he was only healthy half the time...

EDIT: they kept plaxico too, which I thought was odd, but I guess if hes cheap enough he can still contribute

Agreed. I think Dwyer has at least earned a crack at starting, so I'm not too concerned about losing Mendenhall either. The one good thing about Plaxico is that he knows the offense & he is still a decent Redzone threat too.

Then they do not even try for Wallace and maybe going for an aged Jennings...

VIKINGS ARE PISSING ME OFF!!!!
Wallace wouldn't have been a good fit on the Vikes for that money... you actually need a QB to throw to make a guy a downfield threat!?! LOL
Hopefully we have one now with Matt Cassel. It would have been nice to have Wallace to throw to however.
As a life long Chiefs fan I can tell you things will not be better with Cassel. As bad as Ponder played at times its not as bad as Cassel.

Sent from my AOKP G-Nex
Wallace would have been a great fit as he would have been a legitimate deep threat and could pull 2 defensive men away while Peterson runs the ball. Instead defenses can stack the line and play zone on mediocre recievers. As for Ponder if he is as good all season as he was on the final 7 games of the season then he can be a legite QB. Cassel will be a good backup and can give advice as he is a veteran. This can also free Webb up to be a reciever or some other role and we may get to see his full potential. Either way I am still very unhappy wth what the Vikings are doing so far. they better have one hell of a draft and get lucky...

Anyway it will be the Broncos and Seahawks show next year...
