Nice Cheap Cubans

Hi guys. December was pretty crazy & I haven't been on the boards much, but I wanted to give a big thumbs up to the 2012 & 2013 RyJ Mille Fleurs. Excellent, full flavored & inexpensive PC sized cigars. In fact, these are MUCH better than my more expensive 2006 RyJ PCs.

Ive been on the Mille Fleur train for a few years, the 2009's are literally to die for. A few brothers got some from my boxes and agreed they are tits. grab them, smoke them or hold them either way they are spectacular.

Interesting. I never thought they could hold a candle to the Coronitas En Cedros. I don't know if the blends are that much different or just that the flavor provided by the cedar wraps make them more palatable to me.

It does seem odd, but I'm of the opinion that the quality of goodies coming from Cuba is continuing to improve even above the magical levels seen in '05-'07. Moreover, the smaller formats are starting to come into their own.

Agree 100%

2008 was sketchy,some good, some not so much.2009 began a string of above average smokes,2010 kicked it up a notch,2011 to 2013 were even better,to the point that many cigars were excellent before being even a year old.
Some of my 09s and 10s are improving,but even now the '11 to '13 sticks are more aromatic and flavorful.

This could be a result of the excellent weather in 2010 to 2013,all of the Non cuban growers were glowingly describing the crops and yields they brought in,so why not Cuba?

Buy them now while they are cheap and available,a couple of bad years could change it all around...........
