Greetings Fellow Cigar Smokers,

I've been smoking cigars on and off for about four years. John Eldredge (some may know who he is) actually got me into them. Even though it's been four years I'm still very new. I usually have one a quarter but try to sneak more in than that.

I walk into a Holt's or Davidus and am bombarded with options. I have been smoking Tabak Especial Dulce or Negra usually.

I was raised in MD but live in Philly and hoping to move to Charlotte.

I'm having a girl in Oct and wondering what's a good cigar to celebrate with and maybe a whisk(e)y pairing?

Thank you!

Welcome to the forum. A popular suggestion on the forum is to buy a real nice box of cigars and allow them to age as your child grows up. Smoke one on every birthday!

With what you currently smoke, as often as you smoke and the fact that you probably won't be keeping any type of long term storage this may not be an option to you. I'm not familiar with infused/flavored cigars so I can't really help with a suggestion.

Welcome and congrats on the new family addition.

Congratulations in advance,
I consider myself being lucky as my first child is a Girl: lucky and blessed!

Think about "My Father - Le Bijou 1922", and as BOTL Boudie above mentioned, try to buy a box in this current year's date, and try aging it.

Why this one?
1. My Father as you will be a Father,
2. Le Bjjou for the jewel you will have in your life.
3. And it's 2015 Cigar of the year!

Long Leaf BOTL, and safe delivery!
Cheers!

Welcome from Chicagoland and congrats on the upcoming arrival.

Good suggestions above, I like buying a box and smoking one each birthday.

So smoking one every quarter, as in 4 cigars a year?
