I am a die hard Yankee fan, but it looks like this is not their year. In fact, I don't think they'll finish better than 4th place. I think Torre is safe for this year, but, I see the GM and some coaches being dismissed.

True! They need to rebuild their minor league system and stop trading the kids away for over the hill players. IMO

i live in KC, and since we don't have a baseball team, i don't follow it much after i moved from STL.

Yes, but since then, they have lost 5 in a row. This dropped them into 4th place in the Easter Division.

I am from Michigan where all we have it the heart ache of the Detroit Tigers. I think NY can take a year off from national championship contention.
