  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Nub anyone?

I think they will be a gigantic hit amongst "social" cigar smokers. College kids, the younger crowd, and people smoking cigars more for image than anything else. All those people want a badass fat cigar but don't want to spend 2-3 hours smoking a longer one. And I bet a lot of money they don't last as long as churchills or presidentes. One thing they failed to mention is that with larger rg cigars, you have to draw on them a LOT more often to keep them lit than with smaller ones. This will be an hour smoke at best.

Coming from the perspective that I work at a cigar shop, I hope we get truckloads of these in because I will be able to sell the shit out of them to the college/younger crowd. People will only buy 1-3 of these at a time, but TONS of people will buy them.

I'll probably try some of these bugger eventually. Problem is those RG's are the polar opposite of where I have been finding my best enjoyment of late

And think how much you can fit in there using it as a blunt!

I will be smoking the Habano version later today and will post a review of it here....And to tell the truth I also am excited for this one...Love the V series as well...And I got to think that the Oliva family wouldnt have backed this up if they felt it was gimmick...That is just based on everything I have ever read concerning the Oliva family business btw...And yes...I was one of "those people" who won some of the Nub's prior to being released lol...Its been in the humi a week waiting for today to go down in a fiery death lol...len

I had a cigar that was like a robusto but cut off before, I forget who makes it but it was pretty good. It didn't last an hour, but that was kind of the point. Will want to try these.

I've had the Connecticut. I met Ian, the Michigan Oliva rep a few weeks ago and he let me try a pre-release NUB from his personal box Sam gave to all the reps.

I have to say, it was a fantastic cigar, very creamy smooth. It was a lot like the V but I enjoyed it more then the V.

As for time to smoke; it took me between 45 mins and an hour. I wasn't really paying attention to the clock...just enjoying the cigar.

Are these supposed to be like the "DUB's" of the automotive industry. Big rims on cars and big rings on cigars. Their logo looks like the same font as "DUB". It should be worth a try since Oliva is backing them.
