  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hi Guys,

I want to know if there's a difference in taste between the shapes and sizes within the same series of the Nub.
For example, is the taste the same between the Connecticut 354, 358, 464T and the 460?
If it is, this will save me a lot of money on samplers!

This in my experience. . .
Smaller ring gage nubs have more movement in flavors. . . this changes to that changes to this other thing.

Larger ring gage nubs have more flavor in general.

Yesterday, Sam said that the Conneticut wrapper was purchased by the Oliva's about 14 years ago and it's roughly 16 years old. He also said that Jose has a lot of it left. When he was rolling the connies and the cammies, I couldn't help but notice how much darker they were than Conneticut and Cameroon wrappers from other cigars that I presume haven't aged nearly as much.

As the ratio of wrapper tobacco to filler tobacco changes the flavors should change as well. At the same time none of them should taste overly different from one another, just some shuffling of the layers of flavor. Id like to do a back to back comparison of the 464T and the 354 though, could be interesting.
