  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Be as critical as you want, critique the heck out it and tell me where I am goofing up. I wanna know. This is my ;ast o;ive wood block I had. 3/4" chamber with a green swirl stem, recut so it was not straight on the sides.

Agreed. That looks awesome man! Here, just take my whole wallet.

Also, I really like that the pipe is shaped to go with the grain of the wood. Really beautiful work man.

Wow, thank you all for those comments. I really appreciate them. I just enjoy messing around with stuff. I still finished roughing out 2 powder horns to day also, but makin a pipe was a nice change from horns.

Wow Griz, that thing is gorgeous. Love way the grain flows right into the stem and the knuckle shape on the shaft. If that's you "Just messing around" I can only imagine what "Really trying" looks like. Keep up th good work man, and let me know when the waiting list starts :)

I'm really digging the olive wood, Griz. I'm curious what the top of the bowl will look like after it gets some char.

From a shape perspective, I like it. Would love to see something similar but with a larger apple-shaped bowl.

When I saw the title I thought this was going to be a shitty thread!

Damn fine piece of work. The grain is nicely highlighted. I am super impressed with your talent.
