Ordered pipe tobacco from PipesandCigars.com on Saturday, and they arrived here in Idaho today (Wednesday)!

But now, I have a problem.
The lids are on so tight, I cannot open them!
I have all the standard tools to open regular jar lids, but these babies are way too big.
Any suggestions???

And oh, by the way, Ole' Shenandoah Appalachian Berry has been renamed to Summer Berry Brandy.

Pop a hole in the lid with a big knife and store the tobacco in a Mason Jar?

My son got it open for me. He took a honkin' big spoon, shoved it up under the edge of the lid and twisted it until the seal popped.

I believe that this factory “dent” in every can I’ve had is for breaking the vacuum. Even if it’s not it works great.

Exactly right, use a coin, flathead screwdriver, etc. to pop the lid.
