One of the managers here in the office has a brother-in-law that just recently came back from Iraq. Well his brother-in-law found a couple boxes of cuban cigars in one of the palaces and managed to get them home.

Now, I have no reason to doubt this story. I know this guy pretty well and he has no reason to make it up. His wife is going to visit her brother this weekend and bring one of the boxes home.

All he knows is that they are RyJ. We'll see what they look like soon enough I guess.

Fingers crossed for you bro! I know they definately do the Ex. No. 4s in cabs...and those are tasty sticks! Of course, I've yet to meet an RyJ I didn't like.

Hmmm, to guys in a row with positive experiences from this...this could turn out to be pretty cool. We have a corporate golf outing coming up and I was going to supply the smokers but he may have it covered.

He hardly smokes too...like two or three per month.

Do NOT OPEN THEM!!! Get the Soldier to sign a letter saying where he found them and sit on them for a few years!!

Sure...the $$$$$$ you're referring to proably is reserved for his
lawyer's fees and bail money.

Let's see...illegally smuggling OFAC controlled contraband into the
country which was "stolen" (and don't kid yourself, he "found" those
cigars just like those other soldiers "found" the $100MM in cash in
the palaces) while on active duty; the civil punishment
would be bad enough, the UCMJ will probably have him hung; can you
say dishonorable discharge?

Don't have him sign a thing.

Open 'em and smoke 'em.

My $0.02

Chris
