  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So my bro and i met with our first wine vendor today. beside the fact that he gave us 9 bottles to try...for free, he gave us our vendor price guide. the prices are unbelievable!!!!

what i pay $20 for in a grocery store is gonna cost me about $12. this is gonna be insane!!!!

and i think this could be a bad thing for my personal wine cellar and possibly my cigar hobby.

i hope i don't quit on the cigars and move over to wine. :dunno:

oh yeah...with the family restaurant near by we never buy booze or wine at retail. I can get a bottle of Greygoose, for $17 instead of $35 all day long. Wine is even better. tis hell on the liver though.

Gale, I forgot what the new business venture is, what is it that you'll be doing again?
My brother and I are taking over the food services at the local country club. basically we're running a restaurant and banquet hall.

yeah, looking forward to the liquor too. we haven't gotten to the beer and liquor yet. but i got in with the other area wine rep that carries everything the first group doesnt'...so between the two, there should be very little that i can't get.

looking forward to expanding my personal cellar.

Um, based on what you have told me about you, the wifey, and wine. This is a serious issue. Don't get carried away bro.

I forgot about the beer....if we need a Keg for a party, we're looking at like $65 for Bluemoon, $75 for Moretti, and Coors light is dirt cheap.

What does blue moon typically cost? I could make a 15g quantity of a damn fine belgian white for about $70 so $65 is a good price. Of course I'd have to make it in three batches haha.
