Oliva Serie V Torpedo

Last night I finally decided to smoke one of the first sticks that I purchased this year - the Oliva Serie V Torpedo. It was one of those cigars that I have thought about smoking every week, but would always pass it up for some other recommendation from friend or forum. Not sure what I was waiting for because that is one killer stogie!! I am kicking myself for having denied my palate the pleasure of this beautifully constructed and medium bodied tasty blend. On first puff I was hooked. This stick was oozing with a creamy and sweet blend of coffee notes with a strong nutty/leathery core - and it got better with every puff. The taste was complex and surprising and I am definitely adding this to my regular rotation (more often than not). I have never smoked an Oliva I did not like, but this one is off the charts (well almost).

Dood. I felt the same way the first 12 of these I smoked..... And then it was that time of year when the Oliva S.V maduro came out.. I HIGHLY suggest buyng 1 or 2 if you see them even if you do not plan on smoking them right away

Great review! I have one of these in my humi waiting to be smoked - one of my brother's favorites, he's constantly bugging me "did you try the serie V yet??"


But "medium-bodied"? I thought these were full-bodied butt-kickers???

One of my favorite NC's, especially for the money. I cannot get enough of those deep flavors in those sticks.

Yeah, I know. They're very well priced at $9. Better than the $32 we pay here in Australia. Only issue is getting them shipped to here.
