  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I was in my local B&M this week & saw that there was a box of OneOff's in the case. I have not seen these in well over a year. The price was right so I picked up a 5er. Here's my review on a smoke that has sparked a bit of interest lately
The stick has a smooth light wrapper with some small veins in it. I clip it & draw on it. Pre-draw is perfect with a sweet taste & a hint of honey. I toast it & begin to smoke.
The 1/3 is light & woodsy. Nice flavor of nuts with just the slightest hint of spice.
The draw is great, smooth & easy. The ash is light grey & white. It's very fragile & flaky.
The 2/3 sweetness intensifies just a hair with a little more of a honey taste. I'm also picking up some sweet cedar as well. This would be a perfect smoke for a warm spring day.
The ash dropped right before the halfway point. The burn is going a little uneven. It may be the wind. I'll see if it corrects itself.
The last 3/3 I get a floral taste. Something I've never tasted in a cigar before. I'm kinda liking it. Different but nice. I get a little less honey a much more sweet ceder & sweet grass.
The burn isn't correcting itself. Time for a touch up.
I nubed this bad boy. I enjoyed this smoke & can't wait to enjoy another. I'd give it 8 out of 10.

Thanks for the review bro. I have smoked these many times over the last few years. I think it's a great "secret smoke". Plus, for us old guys, the band is pretty cool also.

Nice review, never had one or even heard of them until recently. Sounds like a nice smoke.

Nice pics & review Joe. I loved these a few years ago, but got burned out on them - the last few I've had were pretty awefull to be honest. Glad you got some good ones!

Nice review. I never had one that size. I had a lancero a few years back and I thought it was amazing.

Chuck, CI has them for $5 a stick. I'd be happy to pick some up for you since they are in store only. Let me know.
