BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

A couple reasons...I have family that likes Boston, so naturally I have to disagree with them and like the Yankees. All of my friends growing up were Yankees fans (there was one Athletics fan), so I grew up talking a lot of Yankees baseball and that's how I learned to like them.
Ask me how I became a Dolphins fan from Utah and I will tell you I have no idea. None of my family likes them, none of my friends, but for as long as I can remember, I have liked them. I think it was watching Marino as a kid that got me hooked, he was an amazing QB, to bad he couldn't win the big one!
sorry if i seem like an asshole, its just i HATE NYY, there stadium ,there fans people who wear yankee hats.. makes me sick... i've put up with yankee bullshit my whole life, then the choke of all chokes comes along in 04 , man that felt good.. thats just how people are around here, baseball is in your blood if your grew up in boston, and from a young age you learn to root for the sox and hate the yanks.. so differences aside, welcome to the board glad your botl, just please dont chang your avater to a yankee one.:rolling:

I don't live on the east coast, but I get the jist of the rivalry and how much Red Sox fans hate the Yankees, their fans, owners, you name it...and vice versa. I don't take baseball as serious as I do football, so I don't get as wrapped up in the hatred that I know you east coasters do.
But I know exactly what you are talking about with hating the rivals. I hate everything about the damn Patriots, I wish Tom Brady would die...but hey, that's what any obsessed Dolphins fan wants right? :thumbsup: Hope you're not a pats fan being from Mass. hehehe... If so, I think you and I will need to stick to talking cigars and leave sports out of it so we can get along!!! j/k
