  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Just bought a few more...can't help myself! Lol! Normally I try to appeal to reason, but for this great cause I must appeal to emotion. . Here's a few pics that are illustrative of what I saw....extreme pride even in poverty....

One pic has an a-cute toxicity that is equivalent to 438 puppies.

The other reflects the positive attitude and upbeat nature of this young fella who is going to unfortunately be growing up waaayyyyy faster than he should. Ain't no complaints. I asked him what his donkey's name was. Surprisingly after I introduced myself he didn't say "Ryan." Lol! he did say the donkey didn't have a name. His mother had left him with another family in the dump at Esteli as she couldn't take care of him. That adoptive, so to speak, lady and her husband gave him the donkey to use to get around. They care for him now. So here you go...







By the by, this ain't a great economy in the US in my humble opinion. Times are tough for many folks. I've had some good ups and downs, and fortunately I've been blessed to be able to spend a few extra bucks for this great cause. I say that to say this, if you want in on this raffle, but can't afford it right now, I don't want you to miss the window here. Just send me a PM, and I'm happy to cover you to the extent that I can. No paybacks....and I'm no paragon of virtue either, so I don't want people getting nauseated at my post here. That's not the intent, and this isn't a "look at me" self-righteous type of ridiculous post. I assure you, I'm not terribly impressive. lol!

BUT....this cause is a solid one. And I don't want the good humble folks on this board that want in, not be able to participate for whatever reason. So PM me, I will cover you, and I will never reveal your identity. I never ever believed in brotherhoods. That's the honest truth I have to admit. I always thought it led to a mob mentality, king of the hill type of situation. For whatever reason, and I certainly have my views, :) this board is extraordinarily different. And you guys have unwittingly succeeded in gaining a convert. Proud to be a part of this great brotherhood! Cheers all, and hope you are off to a great weekend! Peeeaaaaacccceee out.
