Arlington in 30 minutes west of Dallas, and then there's all the traffic on I-30 between Dallas and Arlington to consider....hell, it'd take me the better part of an hour to drive out there after work.

Never been there. I think it's called Havana Club ?? That might be a good choice. I think it's owned by the same guy that owns City Cigars on Knox.

It is a GREAT place, went there with another BOTL from another board...very modern...

As for time, I am going out of town until the 1st, but I did not know when this was going to happen...

Not to hi-jack but the Havana Club is a great place for overpriced ordinary cigars. Ernesto doesn't own it any more and it is a very "Dallas" you might want to pin your W-2 to your jacket for admission. If it doesn't read $60,000 Millionaire, you might look elsewhere. Uptown Up in Smoke is right around the corner on McKinney and Grand Ave. and is a bit more friendly. Just my .02.

LOL.... Thanks for the advice Harvard. I've never been to either establishment, but just looking for a way to meet up with the fellow DFW'ers. Hell, it could easily be my backyard for all I care! City Cigars was nice enough, and perhaps Up in Smoke is the same

Oh I agree with you it is def a more posh place... But they don't have a cut fee , and let you bring your own smokes, so all you pay for is drinks (which is enough!)

Some places make you pay a fee if you do not buy one of their cigars from them, and bring your own to smoke (usually restaurants etc)...
