  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Opus lovers!!!!

If anyone gets hard up for Opus PM me, I have a B&M here that has them in stock in most sizes most of the time. I was there a few weeks ago and they were not out and had just recieved 11 more boxes. I bought half a box while I was there to help them make room.

I'm finding out that the B&M is over MSRP and is not a great bargin. If you are intrested here is the best bet. I know they have #3, #4, #5, FF and RDC's in stock right now. Tell me how many you want and what price you are willing to pay and I'll try to score for you. They do negotiate prices expecialy for larger orders. Remember that I get stuck with 7% sales tax, but I'll ship for my cost and will try to get the cheapest price I can for you. The super B's I bought were $21 each for a reference. Believe it or not but I think these are good prices, I regularly see Opus going for upper 20's and lower 30's around here.

If anyone has a line on a fair price for some RDC's preferably a box please PM me. I've wanted to hook a good buddy up for awhile and the only thing he is ever ISO is the RDC's. This is his favorite size and can never find them anymore because he lives in the middle of nowhere and RDC's have become very HTF. Thanks for any help!

Holy corn hole! 21 each?!?! I paid 13 for the few i have. glad i'm not in FL

however, i must admit, i have paid $40 for a reserva dechateau, but that was after 2 martinis and as many bottles of wine at Emeril's Chop Chop in the Disney area. Funny story in short...

i get super liquored up in front of my non-drinking, non-smoking, non-cussing, bible baptist parents for the first time. My dad watches me walk into the womens rest room. For desert i ordered everybody appetizers. The waiter shakes my hand on my way out the door saying "Thank you Mr. Shaffer. Thank you so much Mr Shaffer" Little did i realize that when i offered to pay the bill for all 9 of us eating that night, the gratuity was added in. I gave him 30% on a bill that already had the gratuity in it. He got like $400.

And then...as we're walking back to the ferry boat, my mom asked me jokingly if i can walk a straight line. My answer..."Only if i have to." No sooner did the words come out of my mouth do i smack right into a pole that seemed to jump out of nowhere.

True story.

Running joke in my family is give me a few drinks and i'll buy dinner for anybody and everybody, just don't let me order dessert.

You ever make it down to Ft. Lauderdale look me up. I'll give you all the booze you can drink before we go out to dinner. Be warned though, I'm likely to bring a camera and write a review.

What's with the hype around these things? is it that good?
It's a really good line of cigars, but i don't think it is worth the price I have to pay in CA. Fuente makes great smokes, these especially, but they are also the kings of creating a mystique around some lines, or limiting supply so they can drive a price. There is still no denying the OPUS line is full of great smokes. I would certeinly suggest buying one or two to try, personally I like the PAM 64 better.
