  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I purchased the cigar about three months ago in Vegas at the Casa Fuente in Caesar's Palace.. It has been resting in the humi waiting for a good reason to burn a $25 stick. My greatest fear was after spending more than I ever had on one cigar I would be disappointed. The good reason to smoke it came this week so with a nice double JD on the rocks I lit it up. I gotta say it was pretty damn nice. Without doubt the finest, whitest ash I have ever seen on a cigar. Nice medium strengh with great smoke volume. I really enjoyed it, and although it may be a while before I spring again for that pricey of a cigar, I will not have to worry if I will enjoy it or not.

Yeah, I know I paid a premium, but the Casa Fuente at Caesars had to pay for the comely toga clad lass to bring me my $8.00 bottle of Corona :applause:

I am waiting a little bit to bust my Opus cherry. A fine brother here wishlisted me two, and I'm just letting them sit for about a month before I grab one to smoke.

I wonder if any one else does this. When I have a box, bundle or even a 5 pack, I hate to smoke that last one of the bunch. As a result I will have anywhere from 5 to 10 singles languishing in the humidor. But then I tell myself, you know you allways can buy some more!

Yeah I'm with you on keeping the last stick around. It's like drinking the last of the milk, you need to leave the last little bit so that it wasn't you that finished it.

^ Same here my friend, I did recently pick up some Don Carlos, which are supposed to be kinda similar in taste.

Hmm, I wonder if Wade has ever had one?? :widemouth

You know what's real nice- A Casa Fuente Mojito with an Opus. Heavenly.

Last time I went, I spent some time smokin an Opus Belicoso while playing penny slots. Had a blast. Congrats on being un-virgin!
