Organic Beer

I just saw a promo for an event hosted by the new sponsor Famuos Smoke shop listed under the retailers section. It mentioned "organic beer". I must be an idiot... can someone explain the concept of organic vs. inorganic beer to me? I can't imagine that it's much more than marketing but I am probably wrong.

It's the same as organic food.

All of the ingredients used in the brewing of the beer have been grown naturally.

It means they were grown without the use of conventional pesticides, artificial fertilizers. They sometimes have various animals around making the fertilizers for them the natural way.

I figured that it was something like that. Drinking makes me feel good enough by itself that I couldn't care less about how natural my hooch is. If someone credible told me that there was diesel fuel in Vodka, I would probably still drink it. Or Guiness. They still line the kegs with beef tallow, don't they?

Theres also what happens when you use pesticides and it rains and the chemicals go into the water supply. Its about what you do to the ecosystem as well as what you put in your body. Though I've never had organic beer before.
