Maduro wrapper with undisclosed binder and filler. Solid construction with light give on a dark brown wrapper. Perfect draw small and med veins.
Nose:
Fig, nuts and dark chocolate
Cold draw:
Fresh roasted coffee and leather
1st third:
Off the bat coffee and cream, some black pepper 4/10, transitioning into sweet fig and bread flavors.
2nd third:
Black pepper intensifies 7/10, with a bit of cinnamon, honey sweetness and cashew to round it out.
Last third:
Started to get interesting towards the end... Smoked jalapeño, leather, hints of orange zest, and espresso flavors round out in the last third. Black pepper fades in and out. Ends with a salted pretzel flavor.
Final thoughts:
1hr smoke time. Delicious flavors throughout, solid construction, med-full profile, and great smoke output. I thoroughly enjoyed this stick as it reminded me of a Tatuaje Fausto. Definitely a bundle purchase!
