Awesome thanks for the help. I have so far wiped the affected areas twice today with isopropyl and left the humidor out in the sun to dry. Is ever clear a better alternative?
Everclear is much more highly concentrated and doesn't have any additives aside from water. But Isopropyl alcohol from a first aid kit should work just fine.
Today I wiped it down with some Everclear, will start spraying it tomorrow and Friday throughout the day then let it sit and sand next week. Fingers crossed
