  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

BOTLS,

I have 14 Padilla Obsidians (6 x 54) remaining from a box of 20 that I just don't think will ever become good friends with my taste buds.

So, if anyone is interested in a trade ( 5-ers would be OK too) send me a PM and I'll get them out to you this week.

If no trade interest, they will be a gift to someone on the board; don't want them wasting away in the humi.

Thanks all.

I wish I had something to trade. Guys these are a good dark maduro, and should be picked up if you can. I have one left I am saving to get a little age on, but they were good to me when they were fresh. I know a couple of guys have gone through 20 or more since we did a big box split. Just a bump bump for JOE

Do you like Rocky Patels? I've got a handful of the '92 Vintage series that I would love to trade for a fiver of your Obsidians.

I would love to try one (or a few, :halfgrinw ). I travel, so if you have any special requests, I may be able to get something to you. Very interested.

Had my first one tonight and it was very tasty. First inch was pretty BAM, but it mellowed out into a nice smooth, full flavored smoke. A good maduro taste, woody and great mouth feel. I have to say though, the burn started out bad and turned into the ugliest looking thing I've had to date. It seemed like it was always on the verge of going out. I had to huff it pretty hard to keep it going even after touching it up. It was just too much work to keep it going. With an two inches left I gave up and snuffed it. Probably won't be getting any more soon.
