  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I've only smoked a few Padrons (never a '64 or '26, though) and prefer the naturals I think. The maduro actually seemed to have less flavor to me...maybe the wrapper overpowered the blend or something. I just love the cocoa flavors in the natural wrappers...mmmm!

I just wish I could find a 80th. The 40th's are great. I like the natties too.
I also have never smoked an 80, but agree the 40 is to die for and prefer it to the 26 #1.

I love your pictures sir. It is like sayiing here is he end of the cigar...nuff said.:smokingme

Had a 80th a couple of weeks ago, It's a good cigar, IMHO I do not think it's worth the price. I do understand that others have different tastes.

I agree Kumar... As I do like them both there is far more complexity in the natural which also makes them age better IMO.
Everything about the natural's just impress me on all levels from the taste to the smells.

Can't find them, I'll see what I can do, I know a few shops local, who have acct's and have a good stock of the 80th, but depending on the shop they run $40 to $60.

I rarely have the chance to enjoy these smokes, since the price point and rarity in fellow smokers humidors.

I have the maddi 80th, didn't care for it would have rather been smoking a 64 natti. Our shop has both the maddi and natti for 30 a stick.

Damn you Wade, what were we reading it at the same time, you beat me to the punch.

Yep, and I was more accurate, it's $30.90 not $30!

I prefer the Maddie's as well...have had the 40th numerous times but never the 80th. I am usually just as happy with a 64 Mad Exclusivo, so that's what I buy.

Yep, if you could not tell the cigar by the vitola (40th & 80th), unband them, I don't think you could tell the difference. Of course, I've always said the same between the 26 & 64 too.

I smoked one when it first came out. The cigar looked nice. Both the taste and the smell was great. However, I had to light it four different times and it plugged shortly after the half way point. I was slightly pissed considering I spent $40.

I've been holding onto the one Angry Bill sent me for over a year now. I keep saying I'm going to smoke it, and then get skeered away. Maybe I'll burn it this summer when i have 2 hours.
