So robbie brought up pancakes in the cello thread but the thread, rightfully so, was locked before I could respond.

I love pancakes.

Peanut butter and chocolate chip pancakes from Uncle Bills Pancake house on the Jersey shore. I love them.

So whats ur fav pancakes? Homemade? Got a great pancake recipe?

Well on that note, my friends mother used to make these super thick pennsylvania dutch style pancakes - havent thought about them until right now, but anyone have those before or have a family recipe for them?

Made these bacon pancakes the other day. You better believe I kept that bacon wrapped up in cello until the moment that batter hit the pan! (I even keep a separate fridge for my bacon, which always goes in the freezer for a day or two after I bring it home from the b&m. don't want no beetle in my bacon!)

Ironically, I don't much care for pancakes. I think they're one of the most overrated foods out there. I will concede that my opinion is based on the fact that there are so many BAD pancakes out there. I have had pancakes that I liked.

had pancakes for dinner tonight in fact. Love breakfast for dinner.

Also, I charged in to this thread with the banhammer fully cocked and ready when I saw the title...lol
Alas, it's cool...cuz I like pancakes.

Do u prefer waffles? French toast? I like waffles with peanut butter and syrup. Mom made the best french toast but alas as hard as I try I cant make them like hers.

My mom's French toast is unreal. Could be why I'm so biased. But I'm a waffel fiend as well.

And BD breakfast for dinner is SERIOUSLY underrated

I soak raisins in rum and then add them, cinnamon, vanilla, and a dash of brown sugar into the mix and top with powdered sugar. Great hangover cure ironically.

French toast or pancake recipe? Sounds good for either one really. Love the brown sugar idea.
