Parcells retires

Bill Parcells announced his retirement today. I wonder if this is his last stint as an NFL coach?

I was thinking he would retire, he does not stick around too long these days. As a Redskins fan, I wish Gibbs would do the same to get some younger, fresh minds with frsh thoughts working for them.

Parcells is most likely done for good this time. I'm sure the stress was affecting his health and I know he'd really rather not deal with primadonnas like TO anymore. When I saw him on the sidelines this year, he really didn't seem to have the same intensity that he did in 2003.

Very true Parcells did seem troubled and not happy coaching at times this season. I also don't think he was happy dealing with TO but still a bit suprised he walked away with a team that is pretty good and close to getting to the Super Bowl. Lot of good young talent on that team. Wonder if Jones will make a run after Cower now?

Now that Bill is gone, I wonder if T.O. will stay or go. I heard that if Bill decided to stay on that T.O. would probably be gone. I didn't know this, but T.O. led the league in TD's this year. I can't believe that. Hopefully he's not wanted in the Big D anymore, and anywhere else for that matter.

I hope Bill enjoys his retirement, and I think it's permanent this time.

I always knew that Parcells was gone this year, and TO is staying.. Owens is a Jerry Jones type player.. Amazing talent, flashy on the field, flashy off the field, and a HUGE mouth to go with it..

I wouldn't be suprised to see TO have a career year next year, regardless of who is coaching them..

I love what Parcells did to Owens this year, pretty much make him into an average receiver as best he could....Ya know, since I'm an eagles fan and all.

Believe it or not, I actually had to argue with a guy on the final Sunday of the year, that Parcells belongs in the Hall Of Fame... I, of course, argued in favor of his induction..

I meant that they came 1 play from advancing in the playoffs.

It had to happen sooner rather than later. He just never seemed happy this year while on the sidelines.

He hasn't looked happy since he left the Giants. I saw him on a Gatorade commercial, his new gig is at the toll booth.

Saw him at camp this year in Oxnard. He did not look well or happy.
