Parkers Heritage Collection Bourbons? 27 Year vs Cognac Finished?

Hey guys,

Have any of you tried any of these bourbons before? I know of a store that has the 27 Year for $199 and the Cognac Barrel Finished for $89.99. I wonder if either of these are worth the price?

The 27 year old is great stuff. The Cognac finish was good but not great to me. If you can find the PHC from 2010 it was a wheated recipe and very tasty. The four grain for this year is really good as well.

I had & finished the wheated version, it was very good! I haven't cracked the cognac version yet and haven't came across the 2012 version. Hoping to soon!

I just saw a bunch of the 12 version earlier... It's a wheat/rye blend that compliments itself very well. Although the reviews say the cognac 11 version is fantastic
